Kouhsan (side position)


The way of standing in Kouhsan mood:

After Ghiyam, the first and main disposition which must be learned is Kouhsan as all the positions for training are determined and branched from it. For standing in this position, our body is completely stretched upwards; abdomen muscles in the contraction mode and pelvis out, knees are bent slightly forward. The external sides of the feet are two feet apart in the short position and three feet apart in the long position. The fists are clenched as a guard.
